We are a neighborhood watch community.

Visitors must park in designated painted stalls.

Violators will be ticketed or towed.

Rip Currents

Use Caution – This beach is subject to rip currents (fast moving outward water).  If caught in a rip current, do not panic.  Swim EVEN with the shore until current weakens & begin to make your way back to shore.

Vehicles Prohibited

No motorized or vehicular traffic of any kind may enter or use the beach for any purpose, with the exception of public safety vehicles and those City vehicles designated for public works purposes.

Alcoholic Beverages

The consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on any beach. Any person found within reasonable reach of an alcoholic beverage is deemed to be in possession.

No Smoking

Thank you for not smoking while enjoying our beach.  Kinney Shores is a Smoke Free Zone.

Pet Waste

Animal Excrement must be removed from beach.  Failure to remove may result in fine.  (Saco City Code Chapter 64- Animals, Article II 64-7)  Disposal bags are located at many beach entrances.

Leash Law

During the months from April 1st to September 30th, dogs must be leashed at all times.

Fireworks and Camp Fires

Camp fires or burning on beaches prohibited. No person or group may have a camp fire or otherwise burn on a beach for any purpose.  Fireworks are prohibited – Up to a $400 Fine

Overnight Camping

No person or group may camp or otherwise set up temporary, overnight shelter on a beach for any purpose. “Overnight” is defined as any time following sunset and before sunrise.

April 1 to October 1 is Piping Plover nesting season.  

Please be aware of birds and stay clear of nesting areas.
