Beach & Dune Stewardship
Our beach and fragile dune ecosystem depend on every resident's and visitor's care. A few simple guidelines keep Kinney Shores beautiful for generations to come.
- Stay on marked paths and boardwalks to protect dune vegetation
- Do not remove sand, rocks, shells, or plant material from the beach
- Pack out all trash — leave no trace on the beach or dunes
- Keep dogs leashed and clean up after them at all times
- Respect nesting areas — piping plovers and terns nest on our beach
