As the last of the summer tourists make their way back to Massachusetts, Quebec, and beyond, those of us who are blessed enough to live here in Kinney Shores year round take a deep breath and enjoy this last bit of summer. Yes, it is still summer here for a bit longer, even if the official first day of fall is a week away! Having many friends in Florida from my days as a resident there, these are the days when, like clockwork, Facebook posts about how lucky they are to live in warm weather start appearing. All the while I look around and know that the worst of our cold weather is months away still. This is the best time of the year! And we’ve got this beach to ourselves! Take the time to get out there and enjoy it. My sunflowers know we’re not done yet!
